D.C. shooting suspect caught on surveillance video

WASHINGTON, DC – Authorities are searching for a suspect in a shooting that injured a man on Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue in Southwest on the evening of Thursday, November 28.

At approximately 8:46 p.m., officers from the Seventh District responded to the 3900 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue after reports of gunfire. Upon arrival, they found a victim with a gunshot wound. DC Fire and EMS transported the victim to a hospital, where he was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

Images of the suspect were captured on a nearby surveillance camera and released by the Metropolitan Police Department in an effort to identify the individual involved.
