Man fatally shot in East Flatbush, gunshot wound to the head

BROOKLYN, N.Y. — A 28-year-old man was shot and killed Monday afternoon in East Flatbush, police said.

Officers responded to a 911 call for an assault at approximately 4:06 p.m. at 181 East 32nd Street, within the confines of the NYPD’s 67th Precinct. Upon arrival, they found the victim with a gunshot wound to the head.

Emergency Medical Services pronounced the man dead at the scene. His identity is being withheld pending family notification, authorities said.

No arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing as detectives work to determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
