Gunman sought in Park Road armed robbery caught on surveillance camera

WASHINGTON, DC – A suspect remains at large after robbing a victim at gunpoint on Park Road in Northwest last Thursday afternoon, prompting a citywide search.

The incident occurred on December 5, at approximately 2:30 p.m., in the 1600 block of Park Road. The suspect approached the victim, displayed a handgun, and demanded their belongings. After the victim complied, the suspect fled the scene.

Nearby surveillance cameras captured an image of the suspect, which has been released by police to aid in identifying the individual.
