Manhunt for Seriel Groper Targeting Women in Midtown

NEW YORK — The NYPD is asking for assistance in locating Angel Perez, a 26-year-old man wanted in connection with a series of forcible touching incidents reported across the city in November.

Authorities say the incidents occurred in the Bronx and Manhattan within the Midtown North, 43rd, 48th, and 49th precincts, and involved Perez allegedly grabbing female victims before fleeing the scenes.

The first incident was reported on November 16 at approximately 11:20 a.m. near Parkchester Road and East Avenue in the Bronx, where a 33-year-old woman was approached and touched by an individual who fled on foot. Similar incidents followed on November 18 near East 185th Street and Bathgate Avenue, on November 19 near the Pelham Parkway subway station, and on November 25 at the 57th Street subway station in Manhattan. None of the victims were physically injured.

Perez is described as approximately 6 feet tall, weighing 160 pounds, with a tattoo of a rose on his right hand.
