Police lodge donates food, funds to support local families in need

MIDDLETOWN, Del. – Members of Fraternal Order of Police (FOP) Lodge 20 partnered with Neighborhood House Inc. to provide food and financial support for families in need.

Last week, the organization donated four carts of nonperishable food items and presented a $1,130 contribution to Neighborhood House. The funds came from their annual No Shave November fundraiser.

The effort was made possible by donations from citizens and the participation of FOP Lodge 20 members, who thanked the community for their support.

“We are proud to partner with Neighborhood House Inc. to help MOT families in need,” the FOP shared in a statement.

Neighborhood House Inc., a nonprofit serving families in Middletown, Odessa, and Townsend (MOT), will use the donations to assist households facing food insecurity this season.

The FOP’s community partnership reflects ongoing support for families during critical times.
