Christmas Grinches Allegedly Stole $2,000 Worth of Toys from South Jersey Target Store

GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — Police are searching for four suspects accused of stealing over $2,000 worth of toys and merchandise from a Target store on Berlin Cross Keys Road on Tuesday afternoon.

According to the Gloucester Township Police Department, the incident occurred at approximately 1:15 p.m. when the suspects entered the store, loaded multiple carts with items, and exited without paying. They fled the scene in a red vehicle, which authorities believe may be a Dodge Dart with New Jersey license plates.

Images of the suspects, captured by surveillance cameras, have been released by police as part of an effort to identify them. Authorities are urging anyone with information to contact the department at 856-228-4500 or submit an anonymous tip via the department’s website or tip line at 856-842-5560.

Gloucester Township Police emphasized that their anonymous tip systems are not monitored around the clock and advised anyone witnessing a crime in progress to call 911 immediately.

The theft comes at a time when stores nationwide are dealing with increased shoplifting during the holiday season.
