Defiance player hits $25K jackpot with lucky numbers

DEFIANCE, Ohio — A lucky Ohio Lottery player named John has won $25,000 in the Pick 4 midday drawing held on Saturday, December 14.

John purchased the winning ticket at Short Stop, located at 822 N Clinton Street in Defiance. The winning numbers for the drawing were 0-2-0-2.

After mandatory state and federal tax withholdings totaling 28 percent, John will take home approximately $18,000.

Pick 4 is a daily draw game with two drawings held every day at 12:29 p.m. and 7:29 p.m., offering players frequent chances to win big.

The Ohio Lottery, which has contributed over $33 billion to education since 1974, continues to create winners across the state.
