Man injured in Southeast Baltimore shooting

BALTIMORE — Police are investigating a shooting after an adult male walked into a local hospital Thursday morning with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound, according to the Baltimore Police Department.

Officers from the Southeast District responded to the hospital at approximately 9:13 a.m. after being alerted to the victim’s arrival. Authorities have not disclosed the location of the shooting, and detectives are actively canvassing for a crime scene.

Southeast District detectives are leading the investigation and are urging anyone with information to contact them at 410-396-2422. Anonymous tips can be submitted to Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7Lockup.

No additional details about the victim or the circumstances surrounding the shooting have been released as of Thursday afternoon.
