Two Baltimore shootings leave one dead, another injured

BALTIMORE – Two separate shootings in Baltimore on December 18 left one man dead and another injured, according to police reports.

The first incident occurred at approximately 3:12 p.m. in the 2600 block of East Chase Street. Southeast District patrol officers responded to reports of gunfire and discovered a 31-year-old man with multiple gunshot wounds to his upper body. The victim was transported to an area hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Homicide detectives have taken over the investigation.

Hours later, at approximately 4:55 p.m., Northwest District officers responded to a hospital after a walk-in victim sought treatment for a gunshot wound. The 33-year-old man was reportedly shot in the 3700 block of Denison Street. He is listed in stable condition, and Northwest District shooting detectives are investigating.
