Ocean County woman faces multiple weapon and threat charges after arrest

OCEAN COUNTY, N.J. — A woman was arrested Friday and is facing multiple charges related to the unlawful possession of weapons and making threats to kill, according to information released by authorities.

The inmate, identified as Mirvete Bilali, was taken into custody on December 20. She is being held without bail and faces six charges, including unlawful possession of a handgun, unlawful possession of other weapons, and making threats to kill. Her bond status is marked as “open,” with no bail posted, court records indicate.

The charges stem from alleged violations of New Jersey criminal statutes, including 2C:39-4A for unlawful possession of firearms with intent to use them unlawfully and 2C:12-3B for threats to kill. Additional charges include criminal mischief causing property damage and possession of weapons for unlawful purposes, among other offenses.

Court documents show the case number as W20240004321518. Bilali’s booking records list her as single, with no aliases or detainer information noted. Her projected release date has not been set and is marked as subject to change.
