18-year-old injured in Baltimore shooting

BALTIMORE, MD – An 18-year-old male was injured in a shooting late Sunday night in the 300 block of Laurens Street, prompting an investigation by Western District detectives.

The incident occurred on December 22 at approximately 10:30 p.m., when patrol officers responded to reports of gunfire in the area. Upon arrival, officers located the victim, who was suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.

The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment, and no additional details regarding the shooter or motive have been released at this time.
