One Injured Saturday Night in Baltimore Shooting

BALTIMORE, MD — A 53-year-old man was shot on Saturday evening in the 2800 block of Oakford Avenue, prompting an investigation by Northern District Shooting detectives.

Police responded to the scene around 7:10 p.m. after receiving reports of a shooting in the area. Officers found the victim suffering from a gunshot wound to his left leg.

The man was transported to a nearby hospital, where he was reported to be in stable condition.

Northern District Shooting detectives have taken over the investigation but have not released information on a suspect or motive.
