Man Found Dead at I-95 Ramp in Virginia

WOODBRIDGE, Va. — Authorities are investigating the death of a 27-year-old man who was found unconscious in the roadway early Saturday morning near the intersection of Dale Boulevard and the I-95 northbound ramp.

Officers responded to the scene at approximately 1:18 a.m. after a passing motorist spotted the man, later identified as Tarone Lamont Bland of Woodbridge, and called emergency services. Bland was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Investigators are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident, including whether Bland was struck by a vehicle or injured in another manner. The cause of death remains undetermined pending an autopsy by the Medical Examiner’s Office.

Police have asked anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has information to contact them as the investigation remains ongoing.
