BALTIMORE, MD — A 21-year-old man was fatally shot Friday afternoon in Baltimore’s Western District, police said.
Officers responded to a ShotSpotter alert in the 2100 block of Druid Hill Avenue around 1:49 p.m. and found the victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to his body. The man was transported to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Homicide detectives have taken over the investigation and are working to determine a motive and identify the suspect.
