TRENTON, N.J. — A winning Jersey Cash 5 ticket worth $494,401 was sold in Burlington County, New Jersey, during Friday’s drawing, state lottery officials announced.

The ticket matched all five numbers—08, 13, 31, 40, and 43—along with the XTRA number 02, securing the top prize.

The winning ticket was purchased at the ShopRite located at 1520 Route 38 in Hainesport, Burlington County. The retailer will receive a $2,000 bonus for selling the jackpot-winning ticket.

The Bullseye number drawn was 31, but officials did not confirm if the ticket holder used this optional feature to increase their prize.

This comes just days after a California player won a $1.269 billion Mega Millions jackpot, though the smaller prize has generated excitement among New Jersey residents.
