Teen boys robbed at gunpoint over designer jackets in the Bronx

BRONX, N.Y. — Two 14-year-old boys were robbed at gunpoint Thursday afternoon in the Bronx, with the suspect stealing jackets valued at $1,000 each, police said.

The incident occurred at approximately 3:30 p.m. near 525 Jackson Avenue. An unidentified male approached the teens, displayed a firearm, and forcibly removed their jackets before fleeing on foot to an unknown location, authorities said.

Neither of the boys was injured during the robbery.

The suspect is described as a male with a dark complexion, approximately 18 years old, standing 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighing 165 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black hooded bubble jacket, black jeans, black sneakers, and carrying a black backpack.

No arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing.
