Hudson County Officials Investigate Jersey City Assault

JERSEY CITY, NJ – The Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit is currently investigating a sexual assault case in Jersey City. The incident was reported to have occurred on Sunday, January 5, at a residence on McAdoo Avenue.

The Jersey City Police Department received notification of the home invasion shortly before 7 p.m. Upon their arrival, officers found a female victim who stated that an unknown male had entered her home through a window. The victim reported that she was physically and sexually assaulted and is now receiving medical treatment at a local hospital for multiple injuries.

As of now, no arrests have been made in connection with the case. The investigation is ongoing with collaboration between the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit and the Jersey City Police Department.
