Police seek suspect in $1,500 robbery at Harlem TD Bank

NEW YORK CITY — The New York City Police Department is seeking assistance in identifying a suspect connected to a grand larceny incident that occurred at a TD Bank branch in Harlem.

The theft happened on Tuesday, September 24, at approximately 2:00 p.m. at the bank located at 100 West 125th Street. According to authorities, a 36-year-old man placed an envelope containing $1,500 on the counter.

An unidentified individual approached the counter, took the envelope, and fled the scene on foot in an unknown direction. No injuries were reported during the incident, police said.

Anyone with information is urged to contact the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477). Police are asking for the public’s help after $1,500 in cash was stolen in plain sight from a Harlem TD Bank.
