Police Seek Suspect in Bronx Attempted Robbery of Young Teen Involving Simulated Firearm

BRONX, N.Y. — Police are searching for a suspect who attempted to rob a victim by simulating a firearm before fleeing the scene, authorities said.

The incident occurred when an unidentified male approached a victim and pretended to have a gun while demanding property. The suspect fled without taking any items, and the victim was not injured.

The suspect is described as being in his late teens or early 20s and was last seen wearing a black coat with a white hood, light-colored pants, and white sneakers.

Authorities have not released additional details and continue to investigate the incident.
