Manhunt Underway for Suspect in Fatal Manassas Shooting

MANASSAS, VA — Police have launched a search for a 20-year-old man wanted in connection with the fatal shooting of a 22-year-old during an altercation in Manassas on January 9.

Detectives have identified Marlon Osvaldo Bautista as the suspect in the shooting that killed Calvin Tyshaun Odell Batsone in the 8300 block of Sunset Drive.

An arrest warrant has been issued for Bautista on charges of second-degree murder and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.

Authorities report that efforts to locate Bautista have been unsuccessful, and the investigation remains ongoing.

Bautista is described as a Hispanic male, 5 feet 3 inches tall, weighing 115 pounds, with black hair and green eyes.
