Brooklyn man fatally shot on President Street, police investigating

BROOKLYN, N.Y. — A 23-year-old man was shot and killed early Saturday morning in Brooklyn, police said.

Officers from the 76th Precinct responded to a 911 call reporting gunfire around 2:48 a.m. at 289 President Street.

Upon arrival, officers found Jordan Dillard, 23, with gunshot wounds to his torso.

Dillard was transported by EMS to New York-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

No arrests have been made, and the investigation into the shooting is ongoing.

This deadly shooting adds to the rising concerns over gun violence in Brooklyn communities.
