Cumberland Police Serve Arrest Warrant

Cumberland, MD – The Cumberland Police Department served an arrest warrant on Daniel Sweitzer on Thursday. The warrant was related to a theft incident reported on November 21.

The alleged victim claimed their property was stolen, and Daniel Sweitzer was identified as the suspect. Following investigations, charges were filed at the District Court of Allegany County.

Sweitzer, aged 43, from Bedford, PA, was arrested and taken to Central Booking. He appeared before a District Court Commissioner and posted a $5,000 unsecured personal bond.

The charge against Sweitzer is for theft of property valued between $100 and $1,500.
