Reisterstown woman wins $100,000 on Maryland Lottery scratch-off

Lottery scratch off tickets for sale

REISTERSTOWN, MD — A Baltimore County woman is celebrating a $100,000 win after uncovering prizes on all 50 blocks of her $5,000,000 Cash scratch-off ticket, Maryland Lottery officials announced.

The Reisterstown resident, a retired government worker, was initially confused by the overwhelming number of prizes on her ticket. While totaling her winnings, she mistakenly left out several $10,000 prizes and thought she had won $60,000. “I was very excited when I found out it was $100,000,” she said.

After realizing the full extent of her win, she rushed home to share the news with her family. She plans to use her prize money to help her daughter purchase a new home.

The lucky winner purchased the second-tier prize ticket at the Royal Farms store located at 15 Hanover Pike in Reisterstown.

The $5,000,000 Cash game, launched in February 2024, still has three of its four $5 million top prizes available, along with seven remaining $100,000 prizes.
