Watch: 88-Year-Old Woman Robbed by Force in Queens

QUEENS, N.Y. — The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect wanted in connection with the robbery of an 88-year-old woman in Queens.

Police said the incident occurred on Tuesday at approximately 4:45 p.m. near the intersection of Brown Place and 58th Avenue within the 104th Precinct.

An unidentified individual reportedly approached the victim from behind and forcibly took her pocketbook before fleeing westbound on 58th Avenue.

The victim did not sustain any injuries, according to authorities.

Police have released surveillance images of the suspect and urge anyone with information to contact the NYPD.
