Man charged with murder in fatal Bronx stabbing

BRONX, N.Y. — A 26-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the fatal stabbing of a Bronx man, police said.

Pedro Luis Santana was taken into custody and charged with second-degree murder, first-degree manslaughter, and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon.

The charges follow the death of 23-year-old Jeffry Jimenez, who succumbed to his injuries on December 13, 2024.

The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner has ruled Jimenez’s death a homicide.

Details surrounding the circumstances of the incident have not been released as the investigation remains ongoing.
