Greenbelt police search for suspects in group robbery of juvenile victim

GREENBELT, MD — The Greenbelt Police Department is investigating a strong-arm robbery that occurred Tuesday evening in the 6100 block of Springhill Terrace.

At approximately 5:01 p.m., officers responded to reports of an assault and robbery involving a juvenile victim. Police say six juvenile males attacked the victim and stole their backpack before fleeing the scene on foot.

One of the suspects was described as wearing tan pants, a black hoodie, and a black ski mask.

No injuries have been reported, and the investigation is ongoing.

Authorities are asking anyone with information about the incident or the suspects to contact the Greenbelt Police Department.
