Armed duo robs man of jacket in early-morning Bronx robbery

BRONX, N.Y. – A 34-year-old man was robbed at gunpoint early Saturday morning in the Belmont section of the Bronx, according to police.

The incident occurred around 3:50 a.m. in front of 510 East 185th Street when two unidentified suspects on a moped approached the victim.

Both suspects brandished firearms and forcibly took the victim’s jacket before fleeing westbound on East 185th Street, authorities said.

No injuries were reported in connection with the robbery.

Police are continuing to investigate and are seeking information about the suspects involved.

The investigation remains ongoing as authorities work to identify the individuals responsible.
