BEL AIR, Md. — A devoted Baltimore Ravens fan and longtime Maryland Lottery player from Harford County is celebrating a $1 million Mega Millions win from the Dec. 10 drawing.

The winner, who has played Lottery games for decades alongside her husband, matched the second-tier prize after purchasing tickets at the Wawa store on Bel Air Road.

Her husband bought four Mega Millions tickets—two for himself and two for his wife—before discovering one of her tickets matched the winning numbers.

“Floored, he rushed to wake me up,” the winner recalled, describing the shock of realizing they had won.

The couple plans to save and invest most of the winnings, support their family, and donate to their church while continuing to play the Lottery.
