BALTIMORE, MD — A 30-year-old woman has died after being shot early Sunday morning while inside a vehicle near the I-83 North Exit 3 ramp, according to police.

Officers arrived at the scene at approximately 12:59 a.m. to find the victim suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound. A 27-year-old man, also in the vehicle, was uninjured and was taken into police custody.

The woman was transported to a nearby hospital, where she was pronounced dead despite life-saving efforts. Detectives are now investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting, but no further details have been released.
