Armed home invasion in Bronx leaves two injured, suspects sought

BRONX, N.Y. — Police are searching for three individuals involved in an armed home invasion that left two men injured and resulted in the theft of cash and jewelry Sunday night in the Bronx.

The incident occurred on January 12, 2025, at approximately 11:42 p.m., when three unidentified individuals entered an apartment building near East 172nd Street and Stratford Avenue. Police said the suspects forcefully entered an apartment through the front door, where they displayed firearms to a 41-year-old male victim and a 47-year-old male victim.

The 47-year-old man was struck multiple times with a firearm, while the 41-year-old man was shot twice in the abdomen. The suspects then robbed the victims of $4,500 in cash and jewelry before fleeing westbound on foot.

Both victims were transported to NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi with serious injuries. No arrests have been made, and the suspects remain at large.
