NYPD searching for missing 13-year-old boy from the Bronx

BRONX, N.Y. — Police are asking for the public’s help in locating Elijah McKenley, a 13-year-old boy who has been reported missing from the Bronx.

According to the NYPD, McKenley was last seen on Friday, January 17, 2025, at approximately 11:00 a.m. near Boynton Avenue and Watson Avenue in the Bronx’s Soundview neighborhood.

McKenley is described as a Black male with a dark complexion, standing approximately 5 feet 9 inches tall, and weighing about 120 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black jacket, blue sweatpants, and black sneakers.

Anyone with information about McKenley’s whereabouts is urged to contact the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS.
