Kroger customer in Sandusky wins big on $50 lottery ticket

SANDUSKY, OH — A lucky Ohio Lottery player has claimed a $20,000 prize after purchasing a VIP Millions scratch-off ticket in Sandusky.

The winning ticket was purchased at Kroger #858, located at 226 E Perkins Avenue. After taxes, the winner will take home approximately $14,400.

VIP Millions, a $50 scratch-off game, offers a top prize of $40,000 annually for 25 years. As of Thursday, 47 top prizes remain available in the game.

Since its inception in 1974, the Ohio Lottery has contributed more than $33 billion to support education statewide.
