PHILADELPHIA, PA – Several people were injured Sunday night when a car struck a crowd of Philadelphia Eagles fans celebrating the team’s NFC Championship Game victory. The incident occurred near North Broad and Spring Garden streets around 9:30 p.m., according to the Philadelphia Police Department.

Authorities stated that a driver plowed into the group of fans who had gathered following the Eagles’ win over the Washington Commanders, securing their spot in the Super Bowl. The driver was taken into custody by police.

The injured individuals were part of the crowd celebrating in North Philadelphia. The incident is under investigation, and further details have not yet been released.
