EDEN, NY — A top-prize winning Take 5 Evening ticket worth $30,547 was sold at Eden Shurfine Food Mart, located at 8081 North Main Street, New York Lottery officials announced Monday.
The winning ticket was drawn during the Jan. 27 Take 5 Evening drawing, where players select numbers from a field of one through 39. Drawings are televised daily at 2:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m.
Lottery prizes can be claimed up to one year from the date of the drawing, giving the winner plenty of time to step forward and claim their $30,547 prize.
The New York Lottery, which contributed $3.8 billion to support public schools in fiscal year 2023-2024, remains one of North America’s largest and most profitable lotteries.
