FOREST HILL, MD — A Harford County supply chain manager is celebrating his second Bonus Match 5 top-prize win, this time claiming the full $50,000 jackpot from the Jan. 18 drawing.

The Forest Hill resident, who previously shared a top-prize win in July 2024 due to multiple winning tickets, purchased his lucky $6 ticket at the Sunoco at 2019 Rock Spring Road. His ticket included nine game boards, with four featuring his family’s ages and birthdates and five selected as quick-pick numbers.

After checking the winning numbers, the player discovered one of his quick-pick boards delivered the entire $50,000 prize, a first for him. He plans to use the windfall to pay bills and share the remainder with his wife.

The Sunoco retailer will also benefit from the win, earning a $500 bonus for selling the top-prize ticket.

Bonus Match 5 game rules cap the top-prize pool at $600,000, meaning prior wins are sometimes split among multiple winners. However, this time, the Harford County man was the sole top-prize winner.
