ICE arrests Edgar Julca Tangoa in Newark, pending removal

NEWARK, N.J. — U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has arrested Edgar Julca Tangoa in Newark on charges of aggravated sexual assault and child molestation, according to an ICE announcement.

Tangoa was taken into custody on January 27 by ICE’s Newark Field Office. Officials stated that his arrest is part of ongoing enforcement efforts targeting individuals accused of serious criminal offenses. He is currently pending removal proceedings.
