ICE arrests Kodir Mazhidov in Philadelphia, pending removal

PHILADELPHIA — U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has arrested Kodir Mazhidov in Philadelphia on charges of reckless driving, reckless endangerment, and fleeing an officer, according to an ICE announcement.

Mazhidov was taken into custody on January 21 by ICE’s Philadelphia Field Office. Officials stated that his arrest is part of ongoing enforcement efforts targeting individuals who pose public safety risks. His case is now under review for possible removal from the United States.

Authorities have not released further details about the incident leading to Mazhidov’s arrest. ICE has emphasized that cases involving criminal charges and immigration violations are handled on a case-by-case basis, with decisions made in accordance with federal law.
