Multiple bodies found inside Jersey City home, police suspect domestic violence incident

JERSEY CITY, N.J. — Authorities are investigating multiple deaths at a residence on Hutton Street as a possible act of domestic violence, the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office said Wednesday.

The prosecutor’s office confirmed that its Homicide Unit is working with the Jersey City Police Department to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident. Officials have not disclosed the number of victims or the cause of death.

“This matter is being investigated as an act of domestic violence,” the prosecutor’s office stated in a social media post. No additional details have been released.

Authorities have not announced any arrests or identified any suspects. Investigators remain at the scene, and officials said further updates will follow as more information becomes available.
