Police searching for trio behind Southwest D.C. street robbery

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Three suspects remain at large after a robbery in Southwest D.C. that took place in the middle of the afternoon, prompting a police investigation.

Officers responded around 4 p.m. on Wednesday, January 29, to the 700 block of G Street, SW, for reports of a robbery. Witnesses described the suspects as three black males dressed in all-black clothing. One was riding a bicycle, while another was seen carrying black and white shoes with a yellow tag and a silver backpack.

The suspects fled the scene, and no further details have been released.
