Two men critically injured in double stabbing in Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA — Two men were critically injured in a double stabbing in the city’s 15th District on Tuesday afternoon, police said.

The attack occurred at approximately 12:10 p.m. on the 16XX block of Orthodox Street. A 28-year-old man suffered multiple stab wounds across his body, while a second victim, an unidentified man around 50 years old, sustained three stab wounds to the chest.

Both victims were transported by police to Temple University Hospital, where they were listed in critical condition.

Officers secured the scene and recovered a weapon. Authorities have not released details on a suspect or possible motive.

Northeast Detectives are continuing to investigate the incident.
