21-year-old critically wounded in North Philadelphia roadway shooting

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. — A 21-year-old man is in extremely critical condition after being shot multiple times in the face on a highway near the 2800 block of North Croskey Street, police said.

The shooting occurred at approximately 6:55 p.m. in the 39th District. Officers transported the victim to Temple University Hospital, where he remains in grave condition.

The scene remains secured as investigators work to determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting. No arrests have been made, and no weapons have been recovered.

Authorities are asking anyone with information to contact the Philadelphia Police Department as the investigation continues.
