Karaoke Bar Fight Ends in Assault with Metal Pitcher

QUEENS, N.Y. — A man suffered serious injuries after being struck in the head with a metal drink pitcher during a dispute over a karaoke microphone inside a Queens bar, police said.

The incident occurred on Monday, January 20, 2025, at approximately 4:00 a.m. inside a karaoke bar at 136-28 39th Avenue. Authorities said a 24-year-old man was arguing with an unidentified individual when the suspect attacked him with the pitcher before fleeing the scene.

The victim sustained lacerations to his face and head and was transported by EMS to NewYork-Presbyterian Queens Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition.

No arrests have been made, and police are asking anyone with information to come forward as the investigation continues.
