Man assaulted, robbed at Kingsbridge Road train station

BRONX, N.Y. — A 43-year-old man was attacked and robbed by two unidentified assailants inside the Kingsbridge Road train station early Sunday morning, police said.

The incident occurred at approximately 12:41 a.m. when the two suspects approached the victim and punched him multiple times in the face, causing him to fall to the ground. The attackers then took the victim’s backpack and fled westbound on Kingsbridge Road.

The victim suffered pain to his back and head, as well as facial bruising, but refused medical attention at the scene.

Authorities have not yet identified the suspects and are continuing their investigation.

Police are asking anyone with information about the incident to come forward as they work to locate the attackers.
