NYPD Investigating After Dead Body Found in Queens

QUEENS, N.Y. — Police are investigating after an unidentified individual was found unconscious and later pronounced dead near Union Turnpike and Clearview Expressway on Tuesday morning, authorities said.

Officers responded to a 911 call at approximately 8:56 a.m. and discovered the individual unresponsive at the scene. EMS personnel arrived and pronounced the person deceased.

The identity of the deceased is pending confirmation, and the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death.

No arrests have been made, and the investigation remains ongoing. Authorities have not released further details at this time.
