14-year-old girl from Northeast D.C. is missing

WASHINGTON, D.C. — The Metropolitan Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating 14-year-old Janyia Lucas, who was last seen on Monday, February 3, 2025, at approximately 8:00 p.m. in the 1800 block of D Street, Northeast.

Janyia Lucas is described as 5’3” tall, weighing 110 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair styled in faux locs. She was last seen wearing black sweatpants, a black coat, and dark gray Ugg boots.

This case is being investigated by MPD’s Youth and Family Engagement Division. Anyone with information about Janyia’s whereabouts is urged to contact the Youth and Family Engagement Division at (202) 576-6768 or the Real Time Crime Center at (202) 727-9099.
