Bedford Lottery Player Wins $25K a Year for Life in Lucky for Life Drawing

BEDFORD, Ohio — A lucky Ohio Lottery player has won $25,000 a year for life in the February 1, 2025, Lucky for Life drawing, lottery officials announced Monday.

The winning ticket was purchased at Bedford Downtown Beverage, located at 796 Broadway in Bedford. The winner selected their own numbers, matching all five white balls—4, 34, 36, 42, 47—to secure the second-tier prize. The Lucky Ball number was 2.

This win marks a significant payout in the multi-state Lucky for Life game, which holds daily drawings, giving players across participating states the chance to win lifetime prizes.

The second-tier prize guarantees the winner $25,000 annually for life, creating long-term financial security with a single winning ticket.

Since 1974, the Ohio Lottery has contributed more than $33 billion to support education across the state.
