Caught on Camera: Suspect Wanted After D.C. Heist on Benning Road

WASHINGTON, D.C. — A suspect is being sought in connection with an early morning robbery at an establishment on Benning Road in Northeast D.C., according to the Metropolitan Police Department.

The incident occurred around 2:17 a.m. on January 18 in the 4400 block of Benning Road, Northeast. The suspect entered the establishment, implied he had a weapon, and demanded cash from the register. After taking the money, the suspect fled the scene.

A reward of up to $1,000 is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person responsible.
