Burglars smash into Northeast DC business and flee with stolen goods

WASHINGTON, D.C. — A pair of burglars smashed their way into a Northeast D.C. business early Sunday morning, stealing property before making a quick escape.

The break-in occurred at approximately 2:01 a.m. in the 3100 block of Bladensburg Road NE. After forcing entry, the suspects grabbed items from inside and fled the scene.

Anyone with information is urged to call the Metropolitan Police Department at (202) 727-9099 or text tips to 50411. A reward of up to $1,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment.
