Flushing cosmetologist charged with assault for unauthorized beauty treatments

QUEENS, N.Y. — A Flushing woman has been charged with assault and unauthorized medical practice after allegedly injecting a client with unknown substances during multiple cosmetic procedures, Queens District Attorney Melinda Katz announced.

Fei Min, 41, of Bowne Street, is accused of falsely claiming to provide Botox, collagen, and other treatments without a medical license. Authorities say Min operated Princess Beauty, Inc. on Union Street, where she allegedly administered injections and microneedling treatments over three years, resulting in severe injuries to a 57-year-old client.

On July 4, 2024, the victim reportedly received approximately 140 injections in her neck, which led to swelling, blisters, burning, and substantial pain. Min allegedly attempted to treat the reaction with additional injections weeks later, worsening the victim’s condition. Subsequent procedures caused further pain, bleeding, and scarring, leaving the client permanently disfigured.

Min was arraigned Tuesday on charges including second-degree assault, reckless endangerment, and unauthorized practice. Queens Criminal Court Judge Anthony Battisti ordered her to return to court on April 9. She faces up to seven years in prison if convicted.
