Teen Shot in Baltimore Home, Found on Street Seeking Help

BALTIMORE, MD — A 17-year-old male was shot and injured in Northeast Baltimore on Tuesday afternoon, prompting an investigation by Northeast District shooting detectives.

At approximately 1:58 p.m. on February 4, officers responded to the 5700 block of Northwood Drive after receiving reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers found the teenage victim suffering from gunshot wounds.

Preliminary investigations revealed that the shooting occurred inside a residence in the 1100 block of E. Belvedere Avenue. After being shot, the victim fled the scene and made his way to Northwood Drive, where he was located by officers.

The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment. His condition has not been publicly disclosed.
